We have many years’ experience of building the screen production industry and supporting creative businesses outside London. We use this knowledge to help local authorities, universities, independent producers, broadcasters and other organisations to design and roll out their strategic plans for screen sector and creative industries development.

BAFTA: ORGANISATIONAL SUPPORT

Worked with BAFTA’s CEO to create a plan for the strategic development of the organisation’s acclaimed members’ industry programme, based on extensive interviews with staff and trustees and including plans for engaging the film and TV sectors more actively in climate action, working in partnership with BAFTA albert.

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES SHOWCASE

West Yorkshire is home to one of the fastest growing creative economies in the UK. This glossy booklet was designed to showcase the sector internationally and featured a wide cross section of exciting organisations spanning art and design, screen production, performing arts, games, digital, venues and publishing.

Campaign to bring Channel 4’s national HQ to Leeds

Creative lead on the successful Leeds bid for Channel 4’s National HQ: Garnering a Royal Television Society award for Outstanding Contribution To Television.

Bradford As Seen On Screen Strategy

Advisor: Over 100 interviews informed this comprehensive screen sector development strategy for the Bradford district, now being rolled out in support of the Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture plan.

North East Screen Industries Partnership

Advisor: North East Screen Industries Partnership: Helping the three regional combined authorities of Tees Valley, North of Tyne and South of Tyne at the time to develop an £11 million sustainable screen development strategy in support of the BBC’s £25m investment in North East content creation.

Channel 4: West Yorkshire Mayor’s Anti-Privatisation Campaign Video

Produced a campaign video in response to the proposed privatisation of Channel 4, commissioned by the Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin. This fast turnaround video was made in roughly two weeks and featured a plethora of people whose lives have been touched by Channel 4 in many different ways since the broadcaster arrived in Leeds. It emphasised the positive impact of Channel 4 on the local economy, not just in terms of screen sector jobs but as an iconic brand based in the region that has helped change the look and feel of programming on the channel.
